Northern College is seeking a Program Assistant in our Office Support department. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, possess organizational skills, effective communication skills (verbal and written), be able to adapt to change, and be proficient with computer software, including Word, Excel, MIS, and Databases.
Reporting to the Campus Manager, Moosonee, the successful candidate will perform a variety of complex duties associated with the administration of College programs in response to the requirements of client groups. Liaison functions are normally of an interactive nature.

▪ Compiles and analyzes data in order to provide recommendations as to the appropriate course of action;
▪ Prepares operation plans, schedules, and terms of reference;
▪ Represents the College in dealing with the public by attending appropriate functions; and
▪ Trains, coordinates, and monitors activities of others as appropriate.

- Two (2) year Community College diploma, or related/equivalent; and
- Up to four years of practical experience.
